Awning Operator System
Awning operator system are hinged on the top and open outward from the bottom, allowing for ventilation and protection from the rain. Often placed higher on walls for privacy or in combination with large stationary windows for a better view. They glide open and shut with the turn of one easy-to-reach handle. Awning operator system can be fixed (designed not to open) or are hinged to the top of the frame and crank open outward to create an "awning" for your opening. Positioned in the middle of each venting sash, the easy-turn, fold-down handle makes operation effortless. Positioned in the bottom corners of each venting sash, lock levers secure the sash to the frame for added security. If you’re looking to add light and ventilation to first-floor bathrooms or basements, consider installing awning windows. A door backing plate attaches to the latch-side door jamb. It has a round or square hole that the door latch bolt fits into when you turn the knob and close the door.
